TREC LLC REGISTRATION
Your Texas Real Estate Commission Registration
HANDLED BY A TEXAS LLC ATTORNEY
What we do:
-
Complete the TREC LLC Registration form — including the questions that even we found confusing the first time
-
Review your Texas LLC documents to make sure they satisfy TREC's standards, and submit them to TREC, so your registration is accepted the first time
-
Field any follow-up questions or requests for additional information from TREC
-
Provide an updated W-9 once the TREC registration is accepted
-
Let you know when you're cleared to accept commissions through your LLC
So you don't have to:
-
Navigate questions that took even us a moment to figure out
-
Make multiple submissions — or get rejected outright — because of incorrectly answered questions or improperly prepared documents
-
Fill out confusing IRS forms
-
Step away from your clients to deal with LLC admin that's better handled by a professional anyway

And how we do it differently:
Nothing filed here at Your LLC Attorney is handled by an algorithm or a bot.
Every registration is handled by a human — specifically, an attorney — with your best interest at heart.
$347

FAQ
Not exactly — but if you want your LLC to actually receive your commissions, yes. TREC requires your LLC to be registered before it can be paid directly. Without the registration, your LLC exists on paper but can't function the way you formed it to.
Sure. But the form includes questions that aren't straightforward, and submitting incorrect or incomplete documentation means delays, rejections, and resubmissions — all of which cost you time you could be spending with clients (and could cost you the benefits of your LLC). We handle it correctly the first time so you don't have to learn that lesson the hard way.
Processing times are determined by TREC, not us. What we control is getting your documents prepared and submitted promptly and correctly — which eliminates avoidable delays on our end. We aim to get all TREC registrations completed within 48 hrs. TREC typically takes 1-2 weeks to respond with approval, but at times, it takes longer.
We will need your certificate of formation and your company agreement. If you can't find or don't have either, we can help. We can track down your certificate of formation and company agreements are available for purchase. The benefit of purchasing a company agreement from us - it's constantly updated and attorney-vetted so you know you have a company agreement that actually protects you (instead of the generic one you can find online).
We handle that too. Any follow-up from TREC comes through us — you don't have to figure out how to respond or what they're asking for.
Yes — the TREC registration is for LLCs that already exist. If you haven't formed your LLC yet, that's step one, and we would love to help you get it done. Just click here to learn more.
Not during the registration process. But once your LLC is registered with TREC, you will want to inform you broker and provide a new W-9 so they can process payments directly to your LLC as well.
you're more than a real estate agent
you're the ceo of your life
You made the decision to run your real estate practice like the business it is.

You formed the LLC. But forming it was only step one.
An LLC that isn't properly set up and actively used is just an expensive piece of paper — a piece of paper that can't protect you, save you money, or help you build anything (including wealth).

Using your LLC properly means running your commissions through it.
And that requires registering it with the Texas Real Estate Commission — the right way, with the right documents, done right the first time.

That's where we come in.

We handle your TREC LLC Registration so you can stay focused on closing, knowing the legal side of your business is in legal professional hands.
